As from the 25th of September 2004 and subsequent améliorations, the number of rooms of the garden floor has been reduced from six to four, resulting in the creation of two double rooms (one with twin beds, one with a double bed) with their own private entrance and veranda (with a large ceiling fan), and two units of two air-con rooms (small suite), which will accomodate three-persons parties or appeal to long-staying guests. The costs of each room and suite are given in 'room prices', it includes breakfast and all taxes.

few rooms from La Villa Loti In addition to the traditional room numbers, we have given names from the works of writer-discoverer Pierre Loti to each of them. You will also find some comments from our guests after a successful sojourn at the bottom of this page. |

'' Le Pêcheur d'Islande '', ''Aziyadé '', and ''Fantôme d'Orient ''… all evoke a journey, from a distant pilgrimage to a long and perilous navigation. This place is build like vessel. On the terrace, one may find oneself pretending to be on the bridge of a sampan made in precious wood, 'en route' for Angkor Wat. The room '' Matelot '' recalls this theme. More prosaically, it also evokes the approach ''ship-shape'' applied to the Villa Loti, in terms of neatness and attention given to the details that make a whole. Daniel was very impressed by his cruise as a crew, on a 65 feet ketch, a Swan by the name of 'Shaïtan', chartering around the world.
''Un pèlerin d'Angkor'' : The name of the room imposed itself on us. Aren't we all simple pilgrims during our passage in the city of Temples, at any time and space, for long or short? '' L'Inde...sans les Anglais '': an allusion to the non-conformist stand taken by Pierre Loti regarding many topics. His impact on the avant-garde of the times is another reason to pay homage to him. Morover, the history of temples is imprinted with Hindu mythology. " Le Marriage de Loti " , which took place in Tahiti makes us dream. So does ''Vers Ispahan'': according to some legends, Ispahan would have been the place of fall of Adam, after he was thrown out of paradise. We try at La Villa Loti, to recover some of this lost paradise, with humility and in the simplicity of a convivial hospitality embellished by the Cambodian smile. |
| A word on your hosts
Daniel worked on a rural development project in Cambodia. In the meantime, he fell in love with the temples, then with Sophea. The couple came one day in a superb room, with a seven meters high ceiling and decide to stay on. By turning green and a little more, Coconut House gave place to La villa Loti in October 2003. We are still under the charm of the place and will be for a long time |

After our holiday in Thailand and Cambodia, I am happy to say you that we found
our stay in la Villa Loti !!!. Your staff was the most friendliest, pleasant,
hospitable and sincere we have ever encountered in our entire (trip) in Cambodia.
Your pension is not a big hotel chain and this is what makes it so intimate and
charming!!. We would return to Villa Loti in a heartbeat !!!. Our best wishes
