This year, we stayed open for the Cambodian New Year, in mid-April. We wish a very good year, with great journeys, and great health to you and all those around you. We have in June closed for a few days brought improvements to our rooms and added in all a small fridge and a boiler (with tea and coffee) and more space. The rooms have now all the comfort of the small suites and the small suites have now a private terrace, as we also redone slightly the garden and modified the stairs going up to the terrace. Photos showing this changes will be presented on this site in a few days but note that prices have not changed.
The staff of La Villa Loti, who have been many times praised for their dedication and good spirit, has paricipated in the quiet evolution of La Villa Loti and participates everyday to its good name. We have taken in account the remarks of our guest who, we know, also participate in the charm of this place.
Note also that BREAKFAST is offerd. The price of our rooms includes All TAXES and a WELCOME Air-Con CAR (or a TUK TUK if you prefer, see photo on the page "Services") with an english-speaking driver, will be awaiting for you at the airport if you give us your schedule and flight number (or at the pier if you come by boat)

This
new yet traditional Cambodian mansion is an elegant wood and brick country house
of 8 rooms decorated, we sincerely hope, with taste and respect for tradition.
Each room is air-conditioned with ceiling-fans and individual en-suite bathroom.
We are located in an nice part of town, along the Siem Reap River on the ancient
track to Angkor Wat. The main entrance of the Temple is located at only 2.2 miles
(3.5 km), yet we are just a few minutes away from the old market (Psah Chas) with
less than a mile. | |

| At the entrance, the wooden Buddha figure with two bowing Apsaras (shown above) welcomes you, bringing serenity and meaning to your stay in Angkor. On
the first floor the two rooms and junior suite open on a large and fresh amply shaded terrace,
which can be enjoyed privately but invites equally to a peaceful discussion with
the other guests. On the ground floor two rooms with a private veranda and the two small suites have direct access to the garden. You will find extracts of some messages from our (most satisfied) guests, who to the time to write to us, at the bottom of page "about the rooms". | |

Villa Loti and the Siem Reap Angkor We wish to inform you that in June or July 2006, an international standard Golf Course will open. A second one should follow soon after. La Villa Loti will welcome with pleasure golfers of all levels. We will lend some clubs (we have one set) but entire sets will be for rent at the golf course only a few miles from town. Since a short while a program of visit of the Temples accompanied by an specialised archeologist is available: this service is not for free and is available only in French as for now. The visit of Beantey Srei costs 170 us dollars for one person, 180 for two and 210 for three (including transport but not the pass, food or drinks), but it will a memorable visit. A program (in French) can be sent to you with our answer, if you are interested. You will find a small map of Siem Reap and our location at the bottom of the page "Services", together with various ways to contact us; choose the mail over the telephone if you have enough time, thank you in advance for that. We can provide gratiously a few bicycles, be careful on the road... All night security guard (by K. Security) Visa card accepted, Master card also, Other cards: we will indicate to you where to find the (manual) ATMs with a better rate in town.
